Aermec strengthens its position in Poland

Another new challenge for a Veneto firm: Aermec is extending its presence on the international markets by setting up a new commercial structure in Poland

The Bevilacqua firm, a leader in the field of air-conditioning machines, is continuing to strengthen its distribution network on the international markets, focusing on Poland where its sales of equipment amounted to 6 million Euros last year.

Aermec's new commercial branch is the latest in the list, following on from France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Spain, plus the representative offices in Moscow. Confirmation of a policy pursued in recent years by the Giordano Riello family that, despite maintaining its base in Italy, is reinforcing its role on the international markets (60% of Aermec's total turnover comes from exports) not only via a network of distributors but also with its own commercial subsidiaries.

"The increase in the number of distribution companies abroad, – explains Aermec vice-president Alessandro Riello – is the result of the growing success of our machines on the international markets, and this in turn is thanks to continuous investment in research and the constant improvement of product quality - aspects that are fundamental for strengthening our position at the top of a sector where we have to compete with seasoned multinationals, overseas as well".
