29.07.2010 - ANK air-to-water heat pumps for domestic hot water production

ANK series heat pumps are designed for outdoor installation and are widely recommended for use in the residential sector, where they can be combined with underfloor heating systems or fan coil units. ANK series air-to-water heat pumps produce refrigerated water for summer climate control, hot water for winter heating and domestic hot water, using outside air as an energy source.

The ANK series project has been optimised for winter operation: this has led to a 10% average increase in heating energy efficiency compared to traditional heat pumps.

The increase in energy efficiency translates into significantly lower energy bills during climate control periods and, above all, during heating and domestic hot water production.

When outside temperatures range from -10 °C to 42 °C, the production of domestic hot water is guaranteed up to 60 °C all year round, and up to 50 °C with outside temperatures of up to -20 °C.

The PCB allows for setting priorities in the production of domestic hot water, or differentiating the production temperatures of hot water destined for the sanitary water circuit and for the heating circuit.

The scroll compressor with ultra-low noise emission mounted on ANK series heat pumps guarantees silent operation.

The rated heat output of ANK series air-to-water heat pumps ranges from 8 to 18 kW.
The ANK heat pump can be combined with Aermec's VMF Control and Management System.
