Aermec presents the NRP range of multipurpose heat pumps with R410A Scroll compressors
The NRP range represents Aermec's entry into the multipurpose heat pump market: units that allow the simultaneous production of cooled and hot water in the most versatile and efficient way.
NRP multipurpose heat pumps are capable of simultaneously and independently meeting all the cooling, heating, and DHW production needs. All this, as rationally and efficiently as possible: multipurpose heat pumps are the most technologically efficient units because they make the most of condensation heat recovery - heat that would otherwise be released into the outside environment.
NRP heat pumps are therefore the most suitable units for 4-pipe systems (simultaneously requesting hot and cold air), and for 2-pipe systems + DHW (simultaneous heating and DHW production; simultaneous cooling and DHW production).

NRP is therefore the most rational and efficient choice for buildings typically in need of heating and cooling capacity all year round: hospitals, hotels, and residential buildings.
The use of R410A refrigerant fluid and a careful design of the cooling circuit have further increased energy efficiency compared to conventional heat pumps.
The nominal heating capacity is guaranteed up to an outdoor temperature of -15 °C: NRP heat pumps are therefore also suitable for extremely cold geographical areas.
The use of Scroll compressors offers significant energy efficiency advantages to partial loads: the unit creates the partialisation of the cooling capacity through on-off switching the various compressors, each of which operates at 100% of its power.
Another advantage of the NRP range is the possibility of having the hydraulic accumulation and pumping units incorporated in the unit; the result is a small-sized unit, ready to be installed immediately after carrying out electrical and hydraulic connections. The possibility of choosing among different pumping units also allows the unit to be adapted to the required specifications of useful pressure.
With respect to reliability, the design choice has followed the philosophy contributing to the success of the NRL range, of which NRP is the natural technical evolution: the parallel chiller with two independent cooling circuits minimizes the chances of failure.
The units are equipped with a circuit board characterised by energy optimised algorithms. Among them, for example, is an auto adaptive defrost cycle reducing losses of efficiency to a minimum, typical of periods when the unit is in defrost mode.
Positive results have been obtained also in terms of acoustic impact: the NRP range sound levels are equal to those of the traditional NRL range, despite a 5% average increase in cooling and heating capacity.
Cooling capacity ranges from 40 kW to 470 kW; heating capacity in heat pumps has a 46÷540 kW range.
