The solution

Federico II University, Architecture Faculty - Naples [Italy]

The Holy Spirit complex, in use in the Architecture faculty at the Federico II University of Naples, is made up of a central core overlooking Via Toledo. The building rises on the area of the Holy Spirit Conservatory, whose construction dates back to 1570. The large spaces inside the complex are used as lecture rooms, laboratories, secretaries' offices, teachers' offices and common rooms for the students.

The solution

The air to water chiller unit is made up of four RV 2002 HL extra-silent heating pumps. There are 340 FCX ACB and FCX P model fan coils in the rooms. The 34 CTE central air handling units vary from 1,500 to 4,200 m³ in capacity and are positioned in relevant technical rooms on each floor.
